1. Grant of License
   This Agreement ("Agreement") governs the use of the software causara AI toolkit ("Software"), developed by causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt). By installing, accessing, or using the Software, the user ("User") agrees to the terms outlined herein, as these terms and conditions form our legally binding agreement with the User. causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

2. License Fees and Subscriptions
   The use of the Software is subject to payment. The user agrees to pay the specified license fee or subscription costs as per the payment terms published on the official website or within the license contract. causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) reserves the right to change these fees at any time. Subscription cancellations can be made in accordance with the deadlines stated in the terms of use. Canceling the subscription does not exempt the user from paying already due fees.

3. Trial Versions or Trial Period
   This Software is provided as a trial version free of charge for a period of 7 days. After this period, the user must purchase a valid license to continue using the Software. During the trial period, all provisions of this License Agreement apply, except for those related to payments.

4. Terms of Use

   • The Software may only be used for its intended purpose.

   • The User may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software unless expressly permitted by law.

   • Reselling, renting, leasing, sublicensing or distributing the Software to third parties is prohibited.

   • The Software generates results based on complex algorithms and machine learning. Due to the nature of these systems, complete explainability of decisions cannot always be guaranteed. The user acknowledges this limitation and agrees to use the Software under these conditions.

   • The accuracy and impartiality of the Software depend on the quality of the underlying training data. causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is not liable for biases, errors, or inaccuracies resulting from faulty or insufficient training data. The user is responsible for the quality and legality of the data they provide to the Software.

   • If the Software performs unexpected or potentially harmful actions, the user must immediately stop its operation and notify causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) without delay. causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) reserves the right to take emergency measures in case of software misconduct, including disabling the Software.

   • The Software uses backend services and web applications provided via cloud infrastructures. These services may be hosted by third parties over whom causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) has no direct control. causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) assumes no liability for failures, delays, or data losses caused by these third parties. The user agrees that the terms of use and privacy policies of these third-party providers apply to such services.

   • The use of the number of tokens per month is defined as 30 days.

5. Prohibition of Illegal Activities
   The user agrees not to use the Software for unlawful, unethical, or harmful purposes, including but not limited to hacking, unauthorized data access, or the distribution of malware. Any violation of this provision will result in immediate termination of this Agreement and may have legal consequences.

6. Ownership Rights
   All copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the Software remain with causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt). The user does not acquire any ownership rights in the Software or any part thereof. The user is permitted to adapt the Software through training with their own data. All changes or modifications to the model made by the user remain the property of causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt), unless otherwise agreed. The content generated by the Software may be protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights. The user receives a limited, non-exclusive license to use the generated content for personal or business use, provided it complies with applicable laws. The user is fully responsible for the lawful use of this content.

7. Privacy and User Data
   User data may be stored and processed in the cloud as part of the Software usage. causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) uses cloud services that may operate in different geographic regions. The user agrees to the processing and storage of their data in accordance with the privacy policies. The Software may collect and process personal data. causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) commits to protecting this data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, particularly the GDPR. Personal data will only be shared with third parties with the user's explicit consent or where required by law. Data transmission between the Software and cloud services is encrypted to ensure data security. The user is responsible for securing their access credentials and implementing adequate security measures to prevent unauthorized access. causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is not liable for damages resulting from improper use or insufficient security precautions by the user. The Software enables users to store or process data in the cloud. The user remains responsible for the lawful collection, processing, and storage of this data. causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) assumes no responsibility for data loss or corruption caused by user uploads to the cloud. Users should regularly create backups of their data. To prevent users from repeatedly accessing the trial version, cookies are stored on the servers, which remain even after the contract is terminated. The user acknowledges and accepts this as part of the Software's operation. To improve Software quality and resolve issues, causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) collects automated error reports and diagnostic data during software crashes or technical problems. These reports contain technical information such as error messages, system details, Software version, and log data, but no personal data. The reports are encrypted before transmission and securely sent to causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt). The user agrees that causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) may use these reports for analysis and Software improvements. The User agrees that causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) may use the email address provided during registration to send important information, including updates, new features, and relevant notifications regarding the Software. 8. Use of Third-Party Software or Libraries
   The Software may include libraries, components, or other software from third parties, which are subject to separate license terms. The user acknowledges that the use of such third-party software is governed by the respective license conditions, which may be provided in the documentation or directly within the Software. This software includes third-party components that are licensed under the BSD 3-Clause License. The full text of this license is provided in the “BSD 3-Clause License” file. By using this software, the user agrees to comply with the terms of the BSD 3-Clause License for the respective third-party components.

9. Export Restrictions
   The user agrees not to export or transfer the Software directly or indirectly to countries subject to export restrictions, including export laws and regulations of the European Union or the United States. The user is responsible for compliance with all applicable export control laws and regulations.

10. Use on Multiple Devices
    This license permits software usage based on the user's subscription profile, with a defined limit on users and devices. Installing it on additional devices requires purchasing extra licenses. The user agrees to adhere to the licensing terms regarding the allowed number of devices. causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) reserves the right to modify these limits.

11. Updates and Support
    causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) may, at its discretion, provide updates, patches, or improvements to the Software. These updates may be made without prior notice and may temporarily affect Software usage. The user agrees that planned maintenance and unplanned downtimes may occasionally be necessary. There is no obligation to provide support.

12. Disclaimer of Liability
    The Software is provided "as is," without any express or implied warranties. In particular, no warranty is given for the suitability of the Software for a specific purpose or for its error-free operation.

13. Limitation of Liability
    causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software, even if causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

14. Term and Termination
    This Agreement takes effect upon installation or use of the Software and remains in force until terminated by either party. causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) may terminate this Agreement if the user violates its terms.

15. Governing Law
    This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes related to this Agreement shall be resolved before the courts in Munich, Germany.

16. Severability Clause
    If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

17. Changes to the Agreement
    causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt) reserves the right to change this Agreement at any time. Such changes take effect once published on the official website or otherwise communicated to the user.

18. Prohibition on the Use of Qt
    It is the sole responsibility of the user to ensure that Qt is not used—even if Qt is installed on the system. Only GTK, CEF or COCOA are allowed as backends for pywebview. Any integration, use, or linking of Qt, its libraries, or components in connection with the Software is expressly prohibited. A violation of this provision constitutes a material breach of this Agreement, which may result in the immediate termination of the Agreement and the pursuit of all available legal remedies by causara UG (haftungsbeschränkt).
